 By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our site.

1. General Conditions

  • By using our site, you confirm that you are at least the minimum legal age required to make online purchases in your state or country.

  • Products purchased from KPTOWN may not be used for illegal or unauthorized purposes.

  • Violation of these Terms may result in immediate termination of access or account.

KPTOWN reserves the right to:

  • Refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

  • Update, modify, or discontinue the Service or products (with or without notice).

  • Limit quantities or cancel orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

2. Billing & Payment

  • All transactions are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD). While prices may appear in your local currency for convenience, the final amount charged at checkout is converted to USD using Shopify’s real-time exchange rate.

  • Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, Shop Pay, and other supported options.

  • Payment is charged at checkout. Temporary authorization from your bank will clear automatically after processing.

  • Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. KPTOWN is not responsible for typographical errors or unintentional pricing mistakes.

3. Shipping & Fulfillment

3.1 Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

  • Processing time is included in estimated delivery times. 

3.2 Shipping Locations

  • 🇺🇸 U.S. warehouse: Beauty and skincare products

  • 🇰🇷 Korea warehouse: K-POP items, merchandise, and collectibles

3.3 Estimated Delivery Times

  • U.S. Domestic (Beauty Products): 5–12 business days depending on the region

  • Korea → U.S. (K-POP items): 14–21 business days

  • Delivery estimates are approximate and may vary due to customs clearance, weather, or carrier delays.

3.4 Customs & Import Duties

  • For international orders or K-POP items shipped from Korea, import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.

  • These fees are not included in your checkout total.

  • KPTOWN cannot mark packages as gifts or undervalue shipments.

  • Refusal to pay customs fees or accept delivery will result in a refund minus shipping and return costs.

3.5 Lost or Delayed Packages

  • Once an order is shipped, KPTOWN is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs inspections, or incorrect addresses.

  • Customers must provide accurate and complete shipping information.

4. Returns & Refunds

4.1 Eligible Returns

  • Beauty Products (U.S.): Returnable if unused, unopened, and in original packaging within 14 days of delivery. Customers pay round-trip shipping for change-of-mind returns.

  • Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (U.S. & Korea): KPTOWN covers all shipping costs, including return shipping.

4.2 Ineligible Returns

  • K-POP items from Korea, used or opened beauty products, and sale/clearance items cannot be returned.

  • No refund or replacement will be provided for ineligible items. Customers will be notified before returning to avoid unnecessary shipping costs.

4.3 Return Process

  1. Contact help@kptown.com with your order number, photos of the product and packaging, and reason for return.

  2. Our team will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.

  3. Ship the item back as instructed.

  4. Once inspected, a refund or replacement will be issued.

4.4 Refund Timeline

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to KPTOWN error, damage, or incorrect items.

5. Product Information & Liability

  • Product descriptions, ingredients, and usage instructions are provided by manufacturers.

  • KPTOWN does not guarantee results for every user.

  • Customers are responsible for reading labels and instructions.

  • Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs and consult a physician.

  • KPTOWN is not liable for adverse effects, allergic reactions, or indirect damages from product use.

6. Personal Information & Privacy

  • Your use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

  • By using the site, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of personal data.

7. User Accounts & Content

  • Account holders are responsible for maintaining login confidentiality.

  • KPTOWN may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

  • Users may not upload, post, or transmit unlawful, defamatory, or obscene content.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on KPTOWN.com (text, images, logos, graphics) is the property of KPTOWN or its suppliers and protected by copyright.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent allowed by law, KPTOWN is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data, delays, or carrier issues.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.

Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of or related to your use of our website or services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
